THE 2-3 TEAM
Paula is a long time member of the PSED family, and has studied both art and music prior to joining our staff. Paula was a teacher at the Loon and Heron Children’s Theater and also co-founded the Song and Stone Theater Group, a high school theater group. Paula has spent the last several summers working at the Summer at Park program. Paula lives in Boston with her daughter Frieda. In her free time, Paula enjoys working on various creative projects, including her own non-profit organization Sovereign Arts.
Daniel McCarthy
1/2 Teacher
Daniel grew up in Wilmington, Massachusetts. He went to Northeastern University where Daniel studied Digital Art with a concentration in Photography and Video. In the past, Daniel has worked as a counselor at Ellis Memorial after school program/summer camp in Roxbury. Daniel also assisted in a first grade classroom at the Hennigan School in Jamaica Plain. Most recently Daniel worked as the Photography Specialist at Beaver Summer Camp in Chestnut Hill. Outside of work Daniel very much enjoys dancing, a passion he picked up in college after becoming part of a hip hop dance crew.
