Hello and welcome to the new and improved Pierce School Extended Day Blog! We are so excited to be back, working with your children to engage in fun and enriching after-school experiences for another school year.

 Did you know that PSED has a Board of Directors, made up of parents, just like you?

Parents volunteer to sit on the board for a minimum of a year but often stay on for up to two ( or sometimes more) years. The PSED Board is responsible for the oversight of the program staff and policies. They makes decisions about a variety of things such as program offerings, personnel policies and budgetary issues. We normally meet every other month until the spring when we begin to meet monthly to prepare for a new school year.

For those interested in learning more about the PSED Board and how we operate, we plan to hold an informational meeting sometime this spring.
