PSED Board of Directors

 Did you know that PSED has a Board of Directors, made up of parents, just like you?

Parents volunteer to sit on the board for a minimum of a year but often stay on for up to two ( or sometimes three) years. The PSED Board is responsible for the oversight of the program staff and policies. They makes decisions about a variety of things such as program offerings, personnel policies and budgetary issues to name a few. We normally meet every other month until the spring when we begin to meet monthly to prepare for a new school year.

 

For those interested in learning more about the PSED Board and how we operate, we plan to hold an informational meeting sometime this spring. Stay tuned for more information! You can also speak with one of our current  members if you have questions or would like to know more about the role of our parent board. Week of October 5th 

 

Hello PSED Families,


Today we opend for our Kiindergarten group.Although it is a small group, we had a fun day and the children really enjoyed themselves a lot!

 

Currently, our K-2 staff have been furloughed while waiting to be called back to provide on site care for students who will be doing in person learning.  As a result, we are not currently offering any programming ( virtual or live) for this age group. we plan to phase in grades 1 & 2 as they return to in person learning. Please take a moment and fill out the surevey regarding yourplans to return to PSED!

 

Virtual PSED for grades 3/4/5 began two weeks ago with 32 kids showing up to Pierce Park for some fun and games. We are all enjoying the beautiful weather and being back together for some time to run and play!
