PIERCE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

ENRICHMENT PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Pierce Enrichment Program is open to students in grades 1st-7th at Pierce School. This program is sponsored by the extended day, however it is operated separately from normal extended day programming. The goal of the program is to offer a rich variety of after school classes to Pierce students that are both fun and educational. There are three enrichment sessions offered each year (Fall, Winter and Spring). We offer several classes during each of these sessions that meet once a week for eight weeks. Each class has limited spaces which are filled on a first come first serve basis. We encourage parents to register early in order to have the best selection of available classes.

Please Note: This year enrichment classes will only be open to students in grades 1st-7th. There will be no enrichment classes for kindergarten students.

Please click on the registration link to find the full class schedule.

PSED is not responsible for tracking enrichment children. You child must be able to go from their classroom to their enrichment class. If your child is attending a class in the Korean Church they can meet a PSED staff person at the bottom of the stairs in the historical building and walk over with them and then you can pick them up there.

PSED NEWS

PSED Weekly Update for 6/29:

Now that the DESE guidelines have been released, the Directors are looking closely at the EEC      guidelines for after school programs to think about and plan for  what PSED may look like when children return to school. We are in the beginning stages of this planing but will definitely keep you updated!

Enrollment forms for the next school year will be going out soon. Please remember they are sent in batches (by grade)  and if you have more than one child in the program you will likely receive the forms on different days. Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have.

Happy 4th of July Everyone!
